UMANIT

The aim of this project is to develop new approaches based on eye-tracking, Inertial Measurement Unit and motion capture for the measure of the disability level of the patients’ neurological functions. We have already developed a prototype involving the digitalisation of the MSFC scale’s tests (Cognitive, dexterity and walking test) on a smartphone. The next step is to have a deeper use of the technologies, for the amelioration of these digital tests, and to introduce new dimensions. We aim to test the ability of new tools to quantify gait and gaze’s impairments with motion capture and eye-tracking.
