European Council Simulation: “Nantes becomes Brussels for a day”

60 STUDENTS FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF NANTES TO TAKE ON THE ROLES OF HEADS OF STATE AND GOVERNMENT

CONCEPT

Simulating the European Council, 60 students from the University of Nantes will take on the roles of heads of state and government, journalists and lobbyists. 
For a period of 6 weeks, assisted by partner professionals, these students will prepare for negotiations at a European Council meeting working specifically on the launch of a European policy.

CHALLENGE FOR 2018

On Saturday 7 April 2018, following the European Council simulation, the students will hand in a text negotiated by the member states and influenced by the various actors on the following theme: “Regenerative medicines and bioethics: between protecting and improving human health”.
