Webinar: A perspective on Innovation using key enabling technologies
In this webinar, we describe reflections on innovation that involves the application of specific key enabling technologies to realise a new product concept. We introduce a method to assess the innovative potential of a proposed development. We discuss how a product concept should be positioned with respect to its Value Chain. We describe how to analyse this Value Chain.
Finally we consider how the product concept will interact with the future wider ecosystem in which it will operate; we propose that preference is given to the development of product concepts that are well aligned with regional, technical, economic and social developments.
