BA Healthcare, a company based in Rennes and created in 2011, specializes in the design and mass production of medical devices. In order to accelerate its development, BA Healthcare has been spun off from Alstef Group in June 2021. The company has an ISO 13485 certification for the industrialization, production and after-sales services scope. Since November 2019, BA Healthcare has moved to a site with about 500m² of offices for its R&D and industrialization teams and 4000m² of workshop. In this workshop, 1400m² is currently used for the manufacturing and testing of the Discovery IGS 7 and Allia IGS 7 systems for GE Healthcare. This device is produced at about 100 units per year. On the strength of this technological and commercial success, BA Healthcare is continuing its development by emphasizing its development capabilities (mechatronics and embedded software) with 20 people and its production and supply chain capabilities with 13 people. This team is under the control of a quality department composed of 2 people.
