The Centre de Transfert de Technologie du Mans is a private Technological Resources Center (CTO), ISO 9001 certified, providing R&D and Characterization services for industry.
Catalyst for innovation, its 40 employees are spread across 4 fields of activity:
- Design engineering,
- Acoustics and vibrations,
- Materials, Biological
- and medical engineering.
The CTTM mainly intervenes in projects at the median technology maturity level. It can thus take developments to the demonstrator stage. With its teams, the CTTM also relies on close collaboration with Le Mans University.
The CTTM brings a technological brick to the territory economic development. It will be a key player in the Acoustics and Material Technocampus.
The CTTM brings its capabilities to the field of medical devices thanks to its experience in materials, surface treatment, its ability to develop prototypes and demonstrators and test the materials of the various devices and packaging. CTTM has integrated its own biology laboratories (microbiology and cell culture) allowing it to carry out various microbial tests and characterize living/material interactions. It also has clean rooms adapted to the requirements of the medical sector.
Its pluridisciplinary team, specialized in materials and biology, develops solutions, designs and produces test batches, pilot batches, or preclinical validations.
